Growing up in lovely Mounds View, all I really remember doing as a kid was sledding, freezing, warming, then sledding, freezing, and warming until someone made us come in for dinner. I was blessed with a Minnesota childhood, and I remember it fondly. As an adult, I’ve been fortunate to have worked at radio stations from coast to coast, including time back home in Minneapolis in the early 90’s.
In '97 I was lured out to New York City where I worked at 92.3 K-Rock for eight great years, followed by 6 years with SiriusXM. Combine that with a five year run at VH1, and a few years on ESPN's Cold Pizza, and I ended up spending 16 glorious years in New York broadcasting.
As proud as I am of the good work I have done, I feel such excitement for this new chapter to begin. Finally back home, I will be sharing my mornings with some of the most talented people in radio, and I will be back where I belong, in the Twin Cities. I have never been more excited to work than I am right now at 96.3 K-TWIN. This will be life's best chapter.

KARE 11's Rena Sarigianopoulos
As a weekend news co-anchor and reporter for KARE 11, I am immersed in the daily events of the Twin Cities. I will bring that intimate knowledge of the relevant news and happenings to my work in co-hosting the 96.3 K-TWIN Cane & Company morning show. The Midwest holds a special place in my heart, and I came to KARE from Milwaukee where I spent four years as a weekend anchor and reporter.
In my spare time, I love to bake and feed frozen peas to my pet fish, Sushi and attempt to keep my cat, Skilo out of trouble. An avid runner, I have explored the cities on foot. We live in an amazing place, and I am looking forward to waking up the Twin Cities listeners every morning on K-TWIN.

KARE 11's Eric Perkins
In November of 1996, I joined KARE 11 as a sports reporter and was recently named weeknight Sports Anchor and Sports Director at KARE. In this role, I have become a familiar face and voice in the Twin Cities. Local sports coverage has provided me with the opportunity to entertain and inform.
Married with two daughters and a son, my work allows me to meet new people constantly. Covering the Twins for so many years, I bring my understanding of strategies and approaches that have been used in the past to K-TWIN listeners. There is nothing I love more than getting myself into a mess of video and then trying to piece it all together like a puzzle. Being a goof who loves baseball and knows the Twins, working with K-TWIN is a dream come true.
